The Center for Nurses’ Continuous Education and Professional Development has been opened at the Primary Health Care Center
Doboj and will serve for professional development of health professionals from health institutions in Republika Srpska.

This is the fifth center opened as a part Strengthening Nursing in Bosnia and Herzegovina project, intended to improve the system of nurses continuous education, strengthen their professional competencies and improve the quality of healthcare for citizens.

The center will be a place to gain new knowledge and skills through professional training, practical workshops and exchange of experiences. This will additional strengthen nursing profession and create conditions for better, safer and more modern healthcare provision.

The opening of the Center in Doboj is one of the activities anticipated to develop a network of centers for continuous education in Republika Srpska, thus ensuring a sustainable system for nurses’ professional development and contributing to the further development of nursing.

Strengthening Nursing in Bosnia and Herzegovina project supports the development of nursing profession by improving education, strengthening competencies and creating conditions for continuous professional development, with ultimate goal of providing improved nursing care and quality health care for citizens.
