Third cycle of nursing studies at the Faculty of Medicine in Banja Luka
Head Nurse at the Clinic of Internal Medicine at the University Clinical Center of the Republika Srpska

I have always wanted to be a nurse. My mother, who was a midwife, inspired my career path. I like listening to people, helping them and comforting them. Regardless of the stress and other difficulties of this job, I would always choose the same.

I have always wanted to be a nurse. My mother, who was a midwife, inspired my career path. I like listening to people, helping them and comforting them. Regardless of the stress and other difficulties of this job, I would always choose the same.

However, being a successful nurse depends not only on kindness but also on lifelong learning, education and training. Modern nursing implies education as a priority in the nurse’s professional life. Therefore the nurses should not remain at the secondary school education level. Investing in their higher education with nurses constituting the majority of lecturers is one way to improve and strengthen this profession.

After the master’s studies I plan to enroll in doctoral studies.
