“Health for All - HAP“ project delegation from Albania was in a study visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Fami Foundation from 14 -17 May 2018. With the support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), the project HAP is, since 2015, a part of the ongoing overall health system reform in Albania. The project focus is on improvement of the primary health care and health promotion services in two regions in Albania.

Among nine members of the delegation there were the Vice President of the Order of Nurses, a lecturer at a nursing faculty,
managers and nurses from two health care centers, Program Officer from the SDC office in Tirana and two members of the HAP project team.

The delegation benefited from the experience of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the area of health system reform and introduction of the family medicine. Fami Fondation presented the achievements of the completed Family Medicine Implementation Project in BiH, as well as the ongoing project Strengthening Nursing in BiH. The representatives of the Federal Ministry of Health, of the Faculty of Health Studies in Sarajevo, of the Health Insurance Fund of Tuzla Canton, of the Nurses Association of FBiH, of the FBIH Agency for Healthcare Quality and Accreditation and of the Primary Health Care Center in Sarajevo Canton also met with the delegation and discussed the process of the health system reform as well as the education of the healthcare providers in
BiH.
