Component C - Development of nurses management and leadership capabilities

In order to support the improvement of the health system performance and the delivery of quality services to end users, it is essential to have competent and trustworthy managers and leaders in the nursing workforce. Equipped with managerial capabilities and leadership skills, they can lead their teams, communicate effectively within the health system, with their patients and with the public at large, they are able to manage resources, take decisions, influence health policy and therefore contribute to better performing health systems.

The project will propose the integration of programs for the development of management and leadership skills into a sustainable system of continuous professional development (CPD) and will support institutions willing to host these activities.

Professional Development has been opened at the Primary Health Care Center Doboj and will serve for professional development of health professionals from health institutions in Republika Srpska.
