Twenty nurses from the Healthcare Centre Brcko were presented certificates for successfully completed training in community nursing during a ceremony organized on 6 November 2017. The training, for which an amount of 79.187 KM has been granted, along with equipment worth 53.324 KM has been provided by the Swiss Government within ProSes to improve the health services provided to the most vulnerable population of Brcko municipality. Healthcare Centre Brcko is one of ten health facilities that were supported in this manner during project Phase 1, while another 12 primary health care centres are planned for Phase 2.

“Twenty of us, nurses, were included in the training. We have really learned a lot and heard experiences about the provision of this kind of services in Europe and the world. I have been working for 22 years, but our job requires continuous learning and reliance of best practices”, said the nurse from the Field Practice Bijela, Svjetlana Panic.
